The Barber of Seville | Theatre Royal, Norwich

The Barber of Seville was the incredible opera performed to an enthused audience at theĀ Norwich Theatre Royall on Sunday as three Norwich schools (Mile Cross Primary School, Valley Academy & St Augustine’s ) took to the stage & performed their own inspired creations of the Barber of Seville that had been developed over several weeks with the help & guidance from a professional team of musicians & directors.
Soprano was again performed by the lovely Lynsey Docherty, while the guest Baritone spot was taken up by Philip Smith.

Should you ever have the opportunity to go and see one of the Norfolk Schools Projects then I would highly recommend it.

Tour of Britain comes to Norfolk

A rather wet and soggy start to the day in Fakenham, as the Tour of Britain rolled into town for the penultimate stage of the British road racing tour.

Crowds lined the roads in Norfolk to welcome some of the best cyclists in the world, as they rode through the Norfolk & Suffolk flat lands, leading to a wonderful spring finish in Ipswich.
