Prince William returns to Norfolk for charity polo match

Prince William returns to Norfolk for charity polo match

Friday in the heart of Norfolk I had the pleasure of being the only photographer at the Norfolk Polo Royal Charity match at Langley Abbey Estate, which saw HRH The Duke of Cambridge join team Tarmac at GRS.

“Prince William, in his role as patron of charities SkillForce and the English Schools Swimming Association, took part in the Norfolk Polo Royal Charity match at Langley Abbey Estate.

The match was closely fought throughout and ended in a draw with a score of 4-4-. The Duke of Cambridge played alongside England International player Peter Webb, Scottish player and adventurer Robert Melville, and Clive Reid from Guards Polo Club.

Owner of Langley Abbey and Norfolk Polo Director, Rebecca Townsend, said: “It’s a real privilege and delight to watch the Duke play. It’s also a very special opportunity to help support the work that these amazing charities carry out.”

Leading construction solutions business, Tarmac sponsored the Royal Team and construction aggregates firm GRS sponsored the opposition.”

Zoe Newson | Paralympic Powerlifter

With the Paralympics underway, I thought it the perfect time to wish local (ish) girl Zoe Newson the best of luck in Rio.
Taking part in the <45kg power lifting contest, lets hope she can build on the bronze from London! **Update, I’ve just heard she won another Bronze…nice work Zoe!**

In 2014 I worked on a small feature about Zoe, enjoying a chat with her about the colourful career shes had and the commitment to training she has had to have to reach the top of her game. A top Paralympic athlete and a lovely person!

Superbike rider Luke Mossey

Luke Mossey - BSB Rider - Barn Shoot August 2016

Luke Mossey – BSB Rider – Barn Shoot August 2016

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting images of British Superbike rider Luke Mossey.

Every so often I enjoy a bit of BSB action and it was a joy to meet and shoot images of one of the countries best young riders. (& a lovely chap to match!)
At the point of writing Luke stands 7th in the standings, which is incredible, given his age and experience.

The shoot was all about getting Luke away from the usual rider pictures, wanting to achieve something a little a more sophisticated and stylish. Thanks to a barn and some subtle lighting the goal was met.

This is just a quick preview of one of the shots from the shoot.

a glimpse of my work in 2014

20 photos from my work in 2014.

From the souqs of Marrakesh to leaning over the side of the lifeboat (& loosing some weight…) while trying to shoot a feature. it’s been a year that has been full of wonderful experiences and interactions with some truly inspiring people.

Here’s to a continuation in 2015
