A few weeks before the Covid 19 pandemic I was commissioned to create a series of visuals for a Hospice.

I was greeted by a truly gentle calming and inspiring location. Gentle and Calming, just as one would hope a Hospice would be and inspiring due to the caring and friendly nature of the staff.
What I witnessed during my time on site was a building that seemingly functioned effortlessly around the patients and their families.

Of course, it wasn’t effortlessly at all, the staff & volunteers work terrifically hard at creating such an environment.
One which provides a suitable, dignified and calming place to reflect, celebrate lives and care for patients.

Nursing in Practice

Good day shooting in Manchester again, this time for Nursing in Practice. Low light and the usual issues…thank god for modern day sensors! What the hell would we do without these cracking low light machines!?

Shooting at between 5000-10000 iso (it really is that dark in there!) it’s amazing what can be achieved.

The highlight for many was keynote speaker Dr Pixie Mckenna (from the tv show embarrassing bodies) her sexual health seminar was rather interesting, funny and at times squeamish..
Unfortunately images of Pixie have to go through her agents/management so can’t be displayed here (oh well)
