A few weeks before the Covid 19 pandemic I was commissioned to create a series of visuals for a Hospice.

I was greeted by a truly gentle calming and inspiring location. Gentle and Calming, just as one would hope a Hospice would be and inspiring due to the caring and friendly nature of the staff.
What I witnessed during my time on site was a building that seemingly functioned effortlessly around the patients and their families.

Of course, it wasn’t effortlessly at all, the staff & volunteers work terrifically hard at creating such an environment.
One which provides a suitable, dignified and calming place to reflect, celebrate lives and care for patients.

Back to my Photography Roots

I was back to my roots a few months ago (having previously worked as a medical photographer) at a lovely health centre in the midlands, shooting images for the medical press.

A great couple of days shooting, working with some of the many committed and passionate NHS employees.

Cambridge Hackathon

Making regular trips to the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus for various photographic shoots, I have the pleasure of working on some really interesting assignments, recently sitting in on some inspirational speakers and learning about new techniques, ideas and generally educating myself and moving out of the proverbial comfort zone.

This set of images is from a recent shoot with a health network, with various speakers and some fabulous brainstorming. All in, a great day in a superbly inviting and very photogenic space.
