Event Photography Awards Shortlist

Delighted to announce I’ve been shortlisted for the 2019 Event Photography Awards. The image in question was a capture during a hectic morning shoot in one of the kitchens at a Cambridge College.

Commercial kitchens are never the easiest places to shoot, limited on time, space and equipment. Thankfully several elements seemed to come together and with careful planning the capture was complete.

It’s always a pleasure to be recognised in a national photographic award and especially one that is so hotly contested within the event and commercial photographic world.

Enjoy a coffee & immerse yourself in Africa in Norwich

The feedback for the latest installment of Give a Child a Camera continues to be extremely positive.

I’m sure one or two of my students could have promising photographic careers, Thanks to those of you who were able to attend the supporters evening on the 4th November – it was lovely to chat and explain some of the work and I’m really pleased it seems to have gone down well.

The exhibition is on until the 1st December, plenty of time to pop into the lovely Playhouse, view the work, read the stories behind the images and have a coffee – unwind, relax and immerse yourself in Africa.

Give a Child a Camera Edinburgh exhibition is up!

Give a Child a Camera Edinburgh exhibition is up! Huge thanks to Wex Photo Video and in particular Emma and the marketing team for showing such passion for the project and for assisting & providing a great store venue. A special mention also to store manager Francesco, who equally demonstrated so much love & passion for the children’s incredible work.
It feels wonderful to be able to display work from the children in Southwest Uganda in the Scottish capital – I know for a fact they can’t believe their images are on display for the world to see.
The mini exhibition is up until the end of June, so please, if you’re in the area do pop in and enjoy the work of 15 children.
Plans for #giveachildacamera 2019 are well underway…..
