Working with Young people in Saxmundham.. | Photography workshop

The past few days have been an absolute pleasure working with @access_ourwork on a photography project at Saxmundham Youth Booth.
We had a ‘full house’ of inspiring young people who wanted to improve their photography skills and boy did they achieve some stunning results.
Wednesday saw us heading to Dunwich, where a photography workshop was led in the woods, using the rain as a wonderful resource for some stunning creative photography.
Yesterday was spent processing images and fine tuning some street photography techniques in Saxmundham…

The final choices and those that have been printed are really inspiring and show the depth of creativity young people have.
Simply stunning imagery..

Fun Corporate Shoot

Enjoyed a fabulous shoot at an East Anglian based company a few weeks back. The splashes of colour throughout their offices provided the ideal backdrop for photography and meant that I could shoot wide open and use a couple of small strobes to create a wonderful ambience.

The staff were excellent and really accommodating, which assists immensely and is definitely reflected in the relaxed nature of the photography.

Scenic Cambridge

Busy processing images from my shoot in Cambridge on Sunday… an early start, saw some wonderful light about 7:30am.
It was important that the client had a variety of inspirational and creative images of old and new Cambridge – moving away from the tried and tested imagery of the city to something a little more interesting and emotive – scrapping a lot of the traditional rules of photography to bring together a creative narrative of the modern city.

The B/W is a view of Corpus College – While everyone was shooting images of the college and all taking the same shot, I stood back, waited for a few minutes and grabbed a couple of frames of the college, but with the gorgeous silhouettes of the tourists, all taking their own photographs.
