Emotive Portraiture in Norfolk

The incredible variety of my work leads me to encounters with equally incredible and interesting people.
Late last year I was commissioned to create a body of emotive portraiture of people who support one of Norfolk’s best loved charities.

Throughout my journey around Norfolk I met so many passionate supporters of the charity, many of whom have been personally impacted in someway by the dreadful illness.
It was a privilege to meet the supporters and create some really lovelyimagery in their own environment.

I hope you enjoy a small selection of the work displayed here.

An enjoyable introduction to Golf….

An enjoyable introduction to Golf.
To be honest, I’m not really a big golf fan, I’ve never seen the appeal of spending several hours walking around the course – however, two weeks ago armed with my camera gear, umbrella (not needed, but felt it helped me look the part!) and a golf buggy (thank goodness for this!) I had the pleasure of attending the BIG C corporate golf day at Bawburgh Golf Club.

It took me an hour or so to learn the course, where I could and couldn’t go and how to avoid the flying the golf balls.
What transpired was an enjoyable day shooting images of the various teams taking on the 18 holes – I learnt a lot and a ball (excuse pun!) but for what it’s worth, I’ll stick to the cycle for my leisure activity!

The Colour 5k in Norfolk

Ever wondered what it would be like to be part of a ‘colour run’…?
Well, last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing competitors at the Colour 5k in the wonderful ground of Hoveton Hall Estate – what a complete blast that was…

Photographer covered in paint, camera covered in paint and lens dusted with colourful cornflower – thank goodness for clingfilm and tape!

The Big C Bungee in Norwich

Ever fancied doing a bungee jump?… well, hopefully these images will give you a small glimpse into the fun that over 40 people had on Sunday at the Big C charity jump outside the Forum in Norwich.

Arguably having the best job of the day, I was up and down in the 200ft crane, photographing jumpers, their emotions and the great fun they all had. Sadly I missed the chance to jump myself, but nerveless had a great experience.
