Thousands cycle around Norfolk at Tour de Norfolk Sportive

Thousands of cyclists took to the Norfolk roads on Sunday at the 2nd Tour de Norfolk cycling sportive.
Torrential rain on Saturday thankfully didn’t dampen the spirits of the masses on Sunday, as it started off a little damp, but thankfully the sun came out (mixed with a few showers in North Norfolk) and all involved seemed to have a ball on the quiet lanes of Norfolk.

Photographs from the event are now online – pop along to the Tour de Norfolk website or visit the albums by clicking the link below…

Well done to all who took part and congrats on raising thousands for the Big C!

Norfolk & Norwich Festival Gala Evening

The annual Norfolk & Norwich Festival gala evening was held in the wonderful Adnams Spiegeltent in Chapelfield gardens last night, where the who’s who of Norfolk turned out to enjoy a wonderful evening, interspersed with amazing acts to entertain and thrill the audience.

Wonderful start to #NNF17

Last night at the Forum saw the opening reception of the 2017 Norfolk & Norwich Festival.
After a brief introduction to selected guests, it was time to join the artist Luke Jerram for a look at the moon.
Meanwhile crowds packed Millennium Plain for a wonderfully emotive performance by Total Ensemble Theatre Company
What a wonderful start to #NNF17

Tour de Broads South | Great Yarmouth

Tour de Broads South took place in Great Yarmouth over the bank holiday weekend.. thankfully the weather was kind – well dry… I’m sure all the cyclists had something to say about the horrendous wind.. but it proved to be a great event, with lots of happy smiling people achieving their personal goals.

Images from the start/finish and those taken by my colleague en-route will available via the official Tour de Broads wesbite  http://www.tourdebroads.com/tdb-south-gallery/
