Great shooting at Burnham Int Horse Trials

Fantastic weather at the Burnham International Horse Trials yesterday!

It was a change for me, usually I’m sitting in a ditch with a photo bib on, waiting for the worlds top cyclists to speed past, shooting a dozen frames and jumping in the car and trying to get ahead of the race…
Yesterday I got media accreditation and was shooting at the horse trials which featured ‘the big names’ of the horse and cross country world.
The last time I went to a cross country event was about 25 years ago – bought back a few memories!

The transition from shooting cycling to horses was pretty easy, I especially loved the water jumps. The fragments of water look so spectacular on image.
Overall, a great day – this cross country lark is something I could really get into shooting! Thanks to Musketeer events for a great day!
