Win a copy of Life with the Air Ambulance book

In association with the East Anglian Air Ambulance I have a signed copy of the book for one lucky supporter of the EAAA to win.

Spending 18 months flying with Anglia One over Norfolk and Suffolk, I documented the work of the flying medics who work on this life saving service. The inspiration in creating the body of work was a simple one, ”The catalyst behind the assignment was a TV documentary on an air ambulance I watched many years ago. I felt the programme focused its efforts on the patients and I wanted to see what the medical staff were doing, I wanted to see the life behind closed doors.”

“My work allows for a glimpse of the real life as a flying medic, the moments of tranquillity, the laughter, team building and those moments when words really do mean very little.”

16 months on, three exhibitions and one published book later, I continue to showcase the thought provoking work both nationally and internationally.

Having held successful exhibitions in Norwich, Lowestoft and Ipswich, the work is now winding down with no new exhibitions announced for this body of work, as I concentrate on an exciting new personal body of work.

Due to the success of the documentary, a book was published to complement the work, showing the full portfolio of images and allowing a rare glimpse at the air ambulance operation.

The book “Life with the Air Ambulance” which is still available in limited numbers online, is now at the stage of being discontinued. “It’s been a really good journey I have been on and to be able to share my experiences with the public has been immense, but unfortunately due to rising printing costs I have had to discontinue the book, thus meaning my current stock of books is the final batch available”

Up for grabs is a signed copy of the book for one lucky person to win
